Happy Thanksgiving!

Prayers of thanks and special thanksgiving ceremonies are common among all religions after harvest and at other times. The Thanksgiving holiday's history in North America is rooted in English traditions dating from the Protestant Reformation. It also has aspects of a harvest festival, even though the harvest in New England occurs well before the late-November date on which the modern Thanksgiving holiday is celebrated. Thanksgiving is a day to give thanks for family and friends, a time to connect with the ones you love, there is power in eating together, power that builds and strengthens relationships. Throughout the bible God used meals to bring people together, all the stories revolve around some type of meal or banquet. I always want create a meal around a round table so that everyone can see each other and that no one feels left out. Wishing all a happy Thanksgiving from Cafe Danielle Catering!
