Tiny Whiskey-Glazed Eggnog Cakes
With the holidays fast approaching, we like to occasionally post some of Cynthia’s favorite recipes for this time of year. Today, we highlight some Tiny Whiskey-Glazed Eggnog Cakes! Originally adapted from an old family recipe, these whiskey-spiked bite-sized cakes are both festive and hard to resist, a perfect addition to a holiday buffet. Well wrapped, they’ll keep in the freezer for about three weeks, so they’re a great treat to make ahead of time and freeze before glazing.
After defrosting, prick a few holes in the top of each cake with a toothpick, glaze, and serve! Cynthia usually tops each with a fun holiday themed candy, because who says you can’t gild the lily?!
