Golf Enthusiast Birthday Celebration

At Cafe Danielle Catering, every client receives one-on-one attention to make sure we create the perfectly themed event. For this birthday celebration event, (after much deliberation and brainstorming), we settled on one of the birthday boy’s favorite hobbies, golf!

When you think of golf, you think of golf-club themed food. Barbeque sliders, grilled salmon club sandwiches, and a Texas favorite: queso and guacamole! With Cynthia’s signature brown sugar bacon strips and famous pineapple coconut cake, our guests were delighted! Of course as an experienced golfer knows, it’s not a true day on the golf course without a few drinks, which is why guests were treated to a full whiskey bar!

We love getting creative with our themes, and this event was no exception. The cake was decorated with golf balls, and in the sandwiches guests found real golf tees as toothpicks! Table centerpieces of wheat-grass completed this theme, and we’re sure we made some of these golfing aficionados wish they were back on the green!

Birthdays are meant to be remembered, and to commemorate this occasion, a cuban cigar roller was there to hand-roll two cigars for every guest! One to enjoy that night with the birthday boy, and another to take home to remember the occasion!
